NAPRCA is proud to give back to the local nonprofit community through our annual PRo Bono Project. This rewarding initiative provides public relations guidance and strategies to a selected nonprofit that is in need of assistance and resources.
The goal of the PRo Bono Project is to provide an overall communications audit to determine opportunities, identify areas for improvement and recommend new strategies. Examples of communication services vary depending on the nonprofit chosen, but can include:
- Internal and external communication plans
- Media relations
- Tactical recommendations
- Social media audits
- Community engagement plans
- Event planning
Previous organizations selected for the PRo Bono Project include Girls Inc. of Huntsville, HEALS, Inc., NAMI Huntsville, Huntsville Community Drumline, Crisis Services of North Alabama, Better Business Bureau, the ARC of Morgan County and Still Serving Veterans.
