Jon Colón, Associate Creative Director at Golin, has made a career helping clients build a strong brand presence for a variety of products and services across a variety of media. Jon will speak about how creatives and communicators can bring big ideas to life, impact sections of culture and find ways to create memorable, authentic connections with your people, wherever they are. Jon Colón- Associate Creative Director/Golin

Jon Colón was born and raised in the Bronx just before moving to Tuscaloosa for college. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2015, Jon began his career in Miami at the infamous shop, CP+B, where he worked on letgo, American Airlines, Diageo, Infiniti and Aspen Dental. Afterwards, he moved to North Carolina to work at Baldwin& and MullenLowe, where he worked on Kioti, Long John Silver’s, Krispy Kreme, Burger King, TGI Friday’s and Horizon.

He then had a freelance stint at GUT, where he worked on Popeye’s launch of their chicken sandwich. Afterwards, Jon moved to Kansas City to join VMLY&R to work on Wendy’s before joining Golin to work on McDonald’s, Mountain Dew and Trolli.

He has won Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, D&AD Pencils, Clio Statues, Effies, Webby Awards and probably more that his account people didn’t make him aware of.
