Local historian William Hampton knows the importance of storytelling. As founder of Huntsville Revisited, Mr. Hampton is using social media and community involvement to preserve the past and change the future. Join us for a view of North Alabama’s rich Black history and a discussion on the importance of diverse perspectives and voices.

Founded in 1978, Huntsville Revisited is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich, diverse history of Huntsville-Madison County, Alabama. You will find Huntsville’s most diverse collection of photos and stories anywhere. Companion sites include Alabama Revisited and Huntsville-Madison County Video Revisited.

Attendees will fall into these categories:

  • NAPRCA professional or student members
  • Non-member guests from other chapters or professions who find the topic interesting

We will provide time for audience Q&A at the end of the program.
