NAPRCA friends and members,

As we head into the holidays, it means we’re finally in the home stretch of 2020. I’m glad it’s almost over, amiright? I won’t list all the things that have made 2020 challenging, but I will say the experience has made me appreciate connection more than any year in memory.

This year has proven we’re good at what we do. But we still need reliable peers to help us out, raise us up and urge us forward at critical moments. We need solid professional development all the time, but in tough times especially. And sometimes, we just need someone who gets it.

I’ve always felt I could find those things in PRCA.

And there have been things worth celebrating in our chapter. Thought-provoking speakers. Crowdsourced ideas in our Facebook group. Virtual events like Navigate and the little BIG Event in December. PRCA Chapter of the Year and SPRF Chapter of Distinction titles – again.

The PRCA portal is open and I hope renewal is part of your 2021 plan. Here’s some good news – we’re rolling your prepaid meal plan into 2021. We’re confident that we’ll be back in person at some point next year and paying it forward just seemed like the right thing to do.

Just renew for dues only and we’ll take care of the rest.

If you have any questions or issues related to renewal, please reach out – that’s why I’m here.

And while you’re at it, tell a friend. That’s the most common reason someone joins an organization – because someone they know recommends it. If you recommend someone join and they list your name as their referrer on the application, you’ll get $15 from PRCA. Each person. Each time. We’ll pay out after their pay their dues.

Here’s looking forward to more fun in 2021!

All the best to you and yours,

Lori Miller, 2020 Vice President of Membership
