CloseNAPRCA offers members the opportunity to apply for a variety of awards programs. These peer reviewed awards processes provide valuable feedback and recognition for a job well done. At our annual state conference, PRCA recognizes our members’ best work with Medallion Awards. The regional Southern Public Relations Federation also honors members with Lantern Awards. There are also awards on the state and regional level recognizing professionals for outstanding work in the field of public relations – SPRF Senior Practitioner and Professional Achievement Awards.
The North Alabama chapter has a history of award-winning professional acheivement. NAPRCA has received chapter recognized for the following:
- SPRF Chapter of Distinction in 2015 (1st Place), 2014 (1st Place), 2011 (2nd Place), 2010 (2nd Place), and 2009 (2nd Place).
- PRCA Sharon Heflin Chapter of the Year in 2018, 2017, 2016, 1996, 1994, 1993, 1992, 1990, 1985, and 1984.
- SPRF President of the Year in 2015 (Leah Gradl) and 2014 (Abby Guasti, APR)
